Mist and Memories at Bryce

These photos are from a memorable camping trip to Bryce Canyon. After a rainy breakfast beneath a tarp strung between several trees, Rhonda and I set out into the fog, hoping for a break in the clouds. We weren’t disappointed. While most campers seemed to retreat into town for a dry meal, we wandered through a nearly empty park, surrounded by mist-draped hoodoos and an otherworldly quiet. It felt like we had the whole dreamlike landscape to ourselves.

Bryce Canyon never fails to surprise me..
